Open Oddeon

Place your first trade

Before you begin, sign in and make sure your wallet is funded. If it isn’t, start with Get started with Oddeon.

Open a market and read its resolution rules. Pay attention to the winning condition, resolution source, and closing time.

Choose an outcome and enter an amount. The price beside the outcome is a useful reference; the live quote is the estimate for your actual order size.

Before you confirm, check:

  • Buy or sell, and the selected outcome.
  • Amount and estimated shares.
  • Estimated average execution price.
  • Estimated payout if the outcome wins.
  • Fees and total cost or proceeds.
  • Slippage and any warning.
  • Execution venue or routes.
  • Time remaining before the quote expires.

After confirmation, the order moves to Processing. If the update takes a little longer than expected, check order history instead of submitting the trade again.

The order may fill, partially fill, be rejected, or fail. Order statuses explains each result.

A fill creates or updates a position in your portfolio. Its displayed value and unrealized P&L will move with the market. Neither becomes final until you sell or the market settles.
