Positions and P&L

Position value

A position is the number of shares you hold in an outcome. Oddeon estimates its current value from live market data.

That figure is not a guaranteed exit value. A large sale, thin liquidity, or a fast-moving market can produce a different fill.

Average cost

When you buy the same outcome more than once, Oddeon combines the fills. Average cost is the total cost divided by the shares held, with fees handled as shown in the portfolio.

Unrealized P&L

Unrealized P&L shows how the position has changed while you still hold it.

Estimated unrealized P&L = estimated current value - position cost

It moves with the market and is not part of your available cash balance.

Realized P&L

P&L becomes realized when you sell shares or the market settles. The final figure can include:

• Proceeds from sold shares.
• Payout from winning shares.
• Cost of acquired shares.
• Trading or settlement fees shown in the execution history.

Portfolio totals

Portfolio totals can combine funds and positions across routes or networks. Transfers and settlement updates do not always arrive together, so the headline total may briefly lag a recent action.

For a specific trade, use its order and transaction history rather than the headline total.
